Fairbanks guitars are built using time-tested methods and materials. Fresh, hot hide glue is used throughout for its superior vibration transmission and ease of repair. Tapered dovetail neck joints are standard as is a thinly applied, high gloss, nitrocellulose finish over shellac base coats. In addition, vintage jazz and blues is played at a high volume during the entirety of the construction process to imbue the all-important mojo.
